At Centre Visuel St Michel, our team of professionals uses a number of techniques to assess your vision health and prescribe glasses, if necessary:

Complete eye exam: to evaluate your ability to see details at near and far distances and detect ocular diseases.
Detection of ocular diseases such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, cataracts, age-related macular degeneration, etc…
Case history: in order to know your general health, medications you may be taking, your working environment, hobbies, etc.
Fitting of contact lenses and frames

At Centre Visuel St-Michel, each eye exam is complete and personalized to our patients’ needs.

Your optometrist will use a number of techniques to assess any potential vision or eye health problems, and will keep a file of that information in order to keep track of changes in your eye health or vision.

Eye exams are covered by the RAMQ for persons under the age of 18 and persons age 65 or over.
